Anthropic announced Enterprise Managed Auth for Claude connectors on November 3. It lets Team and Enterprise administrators provision connector access for an organization rather than asking each member to authorize every connector individually. Identity-provider-managed auth is generally available; the newer Claude-issued trusted-issuer option is in beta. Claude-issued trusted-issuer flow
With Claude-issued auth, Claude sends a signed assertion under an issuer URL unique to the organization. The connected service must register that URL as a trusted issuer, and the user’s Claude email must match the email on the connected-service account. The connector provider must support the method, and an administrator of that service must configure the trusted issuer. A tenant or workspace ID may also be required. Claude-issued auth does not require an identity provider or single sign-on, although Anthropic recommends enforcing SSO for the Claude organization. Claude checks organization membership, not the connector’s own sign-in rules or MFA; token lifetime and access already granted by the connected service remain subject to that service’s policies. Availability and scope
Enterprise Managed Auth is available on Team and Enterprise plans. The help article lists Claude-issued beta support for Amplitude, Apollo.io, Atlassian, Datadog, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HubSpot, Linear, Mixpanel, Notion, PagerDuty, Semrush, and Supabase. The set of providers supporting the beta is narrower than the full Enterprise Managed Auth connector list, so check current documentation before planning a rollout.
