Cursor launches an iPad app (with a full PR review + inbox experience)

In a changelog entry dated July 29, 2026, Cursor says Cursor for iPad is now available on all paid plans, bringing its agent-driven PR workflow to a larger-screen mobile experience.

Built for the bigger screen

Cursor says the iPad layout adds pinned sidebar chats, split-screen workflows, and Apple Pencil markup — a different posture from the iPhone app, which is aimed at quick check-ins rather than sustained review sessions.

A full PR review surface

Cursor says the review experience "covers the full PR: comments, checks, and approvals." You can add or change reviewers, read comments, and prompt the agent to resolve them without leaving the app.

An Inbox for work in flight

Cursor describes an Inbox that helps "you and your agents stay organized" — showing what's in progress, what needs your attention, and which pull requests are in review.

Other improvements across iPhone and iPad

Cursor also lists:

• Bitbucket and Azure DevOps SCM support
• Multi-PR sessions — when one chat creates multiple PRs, you can open every one of them, not just the last
• Team switching directly in the app

Why it matters

Cursor already let you launch and steer cloud agents from a phone (see our write-up of Cursor for iOS). The iPad release moves the review half of the loop onto mobile: if agents are opening PRs while you're away from your desk, approving and unblocking them no longer requires a laptop.
